Flyer Envy: Kumbia Queers

I always feel obliged to take the flyers, coupons, and advertisements that people hand out on the streets of New York. I think to myself, these guys are getting paid (probably) very little money to stand around all day and give completely unconcerned people pieces of paper they could give two shits about. And this gig is not over until they distribute all the flyers. By looking these guys in they eye, smiling, taking whatever papers they are handing out and saying “thank you”, I really do feel like I am being a good guy. Granted, I also like to pour over the random stuff they are hocking, looking for little bits of gold, but most of it has to do with not being yet another asshole who blows by without even acknowledging them. The flyer in this post is a little bit of gold I found in this manner, accepting all flyers offered me as I walk the streets of New York. Enjoy.
